Guau&Cat
Guau&Cat is a 100% natural pet food brand for dogs and cats, offering high-quality products at a highly competitive price point. While this accessibility helped position the brand in the market, it also created some distrust among consumers, who questioned the product quality. With a limited visual identity and simple packaging (a strategic decision to keep prices low), the brand urgently needed to redefine its image and personality in order to build credibility and connect with a wider audience.
At this stage, I joined the marketing team as Art Director, leading the brand’s visual and strategic redesign. From redefining its tone and personality to overseeing the graphic execution and production of internal campaigns, we worked to build a stronger, more approachable, and more credible identity, one capable of reflecting the product’s quality without losing its accessible spirit.
No discounts
In times of discounts, we choose honesty. Guau&Cat keeps its prices fair from day one, investing in natural food rather than elaborate packaging. With no inflated price to cut, seasonal discounts simply do not fit. This rebellious campaign turns a recurring customer question into a clear statement: simple packaging, good food, an honest price — every day.
Family Club — The best-kept secret
An exclusive club hiding in plain sight. Family Club rewards Guau&Cat customers with extra products in their orders, but many did not know it existed. We brought it into the spotlight through a clandestine, mafia-inspired campaign: the best-kept secret, and an invitation to belong. A story designed to spark curiosity and FOMO around the rewards of being part of the family.
Breaking myths
An honest price and simple packaging had led some people to assume Guau&Cat meant poor quality. We challenged that perception through familiar everyday myths: orange juice losing its vitamins, or walking under a ladder bringing bad luck. Four playful films question what we take for granted, making room to rethink the myth about the food itself.
The big change
A packaging change driven by customer feedback. Customers wanted food that was easier to handle and store in the freezer. Guau&Cat moved from square packs to a cylindrical format to make freezing and handling more practical. Inspired by TV makeover shows, the campaign gives this useful product change its own big reveal.
